The "my AC unit is dead, I need a new one" conversation is usually tilted towards the vendor knows the industry inside and out, and consumer knows very little. Luc on the education, "here's your options side" to Stephanie and Mason on the installation side, were top drawer. Acclaimed is business where phone calls/texts/emails are responded to very timely and professionally. No worries recommending them every day.

Very exceptional customer service and prompt repair.
Woke up to a house at 13 celsius. Called them and within a few hours they had responded, sent a technician and resolved the issue.
Not the first time I’ve used them and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again

I would highly recommend this company. Luc came to our house and gave us an estimate. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He was never pushy and really took his time to go through everything with us.

The guys that did the installation were the best. Justin was so accommodating and really took his time with the install. We had a furnace, air conditioner and hot water tank all replaced and they did a phenomenal job. These guys know what they’re doing.

It’s pretty obvious by all the great reviews that this company really cares about customer service and making sure things are done right.

I had my furnace replaced last August and added an air conditioner. I had several quotes and I chose Acclaimed as they are a family run business and their service is excellent with very friendly staff. Luc was my salesman. I was impressed on his thoroughness in explaining everything and his patience with dealing with someone who knew nothing about furnaces and air conditioners.
Ed came out today to check the thermostat and air flow of the furnace and did some adjustments which I am very satisfied with. I was very impressed with his service . They are quick to respond to any service or questions.
I would highly recommend Acclaimed!

We just had Acclaimed! move our furnace vent and do maintenance + cleaning on our 2 furnaces. Overall the experience was great, excellent communication from the company and employees throughout the process, and really friendly workers who were knowledgeable and helpful. I love that they text you when the employee is arriving rather than have us just wait around wondering like so many other service companies. It's a great system. They are coming back to mount the vent on the outside of the house sometime in the next week and I'm sure they will follow through with it. Our cat freaked out and bolted outside while they were cleaning, they warned us to keep an eye on the animals and we did try, but she escaped. For a brief period we were worried she got sucked up by the vacuum, we got in touch with them and they seemed genuinely concerned about our cat. Fortunately, like they said, she showed up a couple hours later as she was hiding. Keep the critters in check while they clean! Overall highly recommend this company!

Why Edmonton Homeowners Are Choosing HVAC Maintenance Plans

An hvac maintenance plan edmonton ab is a service agreement for regular tune-ups, priority service, and discounts on repairs. In Edmonton’s extreme climate, these plans are essential. They prevent breakdowns, reduce energy bills by up to 30%, and extend the life of your furnace and air conditioner.

Quick Overview: What You Get

  • Annual tune-ups for your furnace and AC
  • Priority scheduling for emergency service
  • Discounts on repairs (typically 15-20%)
  • Waived diagnostic fees
  • Extended equipment lifespan
  • Lower energy bills

Edmonton’s harsh weather puts serious stress on home comfort systems. A furnace failure on a -30°C night or an AC breakdown during a heatwave can lead to emergency repair bills topping $1,000. That’s why homeowners are shifting from reactive repairs to proactive maintenance, investing in service that catches small problems before they become expensive emergencies.

This guide breaks down everything you need to know about HVAC maintenance plans in Edmonton, from what’s included to how much you should expect to pay, so you can make an informed decision that protects your comfort and your wallet.

The Real-World Benefits of an HVAC Maintenance Plan

Edmonton’s weather is demanding, with winters plunging to -40°C and summers hitting 30°C. Your heating and cooling systems work overtime, and that constant demand takes a toll. An hvac maintenance plan edmonton ab provides the regular care your system needs to handle our climate, just like an oil change for your car.

The first benefit you’ll notice is system efficiency. A well-maintained furnace or air conditioner uses less energy, leading to lower utility bills. Regular maintenance also prolongs your equipment’s life by five to ten years, improves home safety by checking for hazards like carbon monoxide leaks, and provides better air quality by removing dust and allergens.

With our HVAC Maintenance Edmonton AB services, you also get priority service, moving you to the front of the line during busy seasons.

Why Regular Tune-Ups Save You Money

Skipping maintenance costs more in the long run. Here’s how tune-ups save you money:

  • Reduced Energy Bills: An efficient system wastes less energy. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, regular maintenance can save you up to 30% on your heating and cooling bills.
  • Avoiding Emergency Repairs: A single emergency repair for a furnace or AC can easily cost over $1,000. Tune-ups catch problems when they’re small and cheap to fix, like replacing a worn belt before it snaps and causes major damage.
  • Preventing Premature Replacement: A well-maintained HVAC system can last 15-20 years, while a neglected one might fail after just 10. Those extra years of service represent thousands of dollars in savings.
  • Maintaining Your Warranty: Most manufacturers require annual professional maintenance to keep their warranty valid. Skipping tune-ups could void your coverage, leaving you to pay for repairs that should have been covered.

Our Furnace Maintenance Edmonton AB service ensures your heating system runs efficiently and stays under warranty.

Improved Comfort and Safety for Your Family

Beyond savings, a maintenance plan improves your family’s well-being.

Consistent heating and cooling eliminate hot and cold spots, ensuring reliable comfort in every room. More importantly, professional safety checks during every visit protect your family from dangers like carbon monoxide leaks from a faulty furnace.

Maintenance also leads to cleaner indoor air. Your HVAC system circulates air constantly, and clean filters and components remove dust, pet dander, and pollen. This is a major benefit for anyone with allergies or asthma. Finally, a well-maintained system helps regulate balanced humidity, preventing the dry air of winter and the clammy feeling of summer.

A clean filter allows your system to breathe, keeping air fresh and equipment running smoothly. Regular filter changes are a key part of the comprehensive care offered by our AC Maintenance Edmonton AB service.

Decoding Your Options: Comfort Club vs. Service Agreement

When shopping for an hvac maintenance plan edmonton ab, you’ll likely see two main types: “Comfort Club” plans and “Service Agreements.” Both keep your system running smoothly, but they offer different levels of protection.

A Comfort Club plan is like an annual physical—it’s about preventative care to keep your system healthy. A Service Agreement is like health insurance—it includes the check-up but also covers you when unexpected problems arise.

The key differences at a glance:

  • Goal: A Comfort Club focuses on preventative maintenance, while a Service Agreement focuses on repair cost coverage.
  • Cost: Comfort Clubs have a lower fee, as they are for prevention. Service Agreements cost more because they include parts and labour coverage.
  • Services: A Comfort Club includes tune-ups, cleaning, priority service, and repair discounts. A Service Agreement includes all that plus full parts and labour coverage for most repairs.
  • Best For: Comfort Clubs are great for newer systems or those under warranty. Service Agreements are ideal for older, out-of-warranty equipment or for homeowners who want maximum protection from surprise bills.

What is the Comfort Club?

Our Comfort Club is built on prevention. In Edmonton’s climate, this proactive approach can save you thousands down the road. The core of the plan is a comprehensive tune-up, where our technicians perform detailed efficiency checks, clean critical components, and lubricate all moving parts.

This process catches small issues—like a loose wire or a dirty coil—before they cause a major failure. Comfort Club plans are perfect for newer HVAC systems, as most manufacturers require annual maintenance to keep the warranty valid. Our AC Maintenance Edmonton AB services ensure your system stays compliant and efficient. This proactive care lowers energy bills, extends equipment life, and gives you priority service.

What is a Service Agreement?

A Service Agreement includes all the preventative maintenance of a Comfort Club plan but adds a crucial financial safety net: parts and labour for repairs are included. When your furnace motor fails or your AC compressor quits, you’re covered.

Without coverage, a breakdown means a diagnostic fee, parts costs, and labour charges that can quickly add up to thousands. With a Service Agreement, these costs are covered. Diagnostic fees are waived, and parts and labour are included, even for after-hours calls.

This plan is especially valuable for older HVAC systems that are past their warranty period. As equipment ages, repairs become more likely. A Service Agreement provides total peace of mind by turning unpredictable repair costs into a fixed, manageable monthly payment. It’s smart financial planning that protects your comfort and your budget.

What’s Included & What’s the Cost for an HVAC Maintenance Plan in Edmonton AB?

When considering an hvac maintenance plan edmonton ab, it’s important to know what you’re getting for your investment. While plans vary, most are built on a comprehensive tune-up designed to ensure your system runs safely, efficiently, and reliably through Edmonton’s extreme temperatures.

Typical Costs for an hvac maintenance plan edmonton ab

The cost of an hvac maintenance plan edmonton ab depends on the provider, the level of coverage, and the number of systems included. Most companies offer flexible monthly or annual payment options.

Basic, maintenance-focused plans are the most affordable, covering annual tune-ups and providing repair discounts. More comprehensive plans cost more but add benefits like waived diagnostic fees or full parts and labour coverage for breakdowns. If you have multiple systems, such as a furnace, air conditioner, or a heat pump, bundling them into one plan often provides the best value.

While we don’t list specific prices due to frequent promotions, most homeowners find that the energy savings and avoided repair costs make the plan pay for itself. We encourage you to check our HVAC Promotions Edmonton AB page for current offers. Our team can help you find a plan that fits your home and budget, providing peace of mind and protection against costly breakdowns.

How to Choose the Right Plan for Your Edmonton Home

Picking the right hvac maintenance plan edmonton ab means matching the plan to your home’s specific needs and your budget. A new home with a modern furnace has different requirements than an older home with a 15-year-old system.

Factors to Consider for Your System

Start by assessing your equipment and your comfort level with risk.

  • Age of Furnace/AC: For systems under five years old, a basic maintenance plan is often sufficient to maintain efficiency and warranty. For systems over ten years old, a comprehensive service agreement with repair coverage offers better protection against likely breakdowns.
  • Repair History: If your system needs frequent attention, a plan that covers parts and labour could save you significant money and stress.
  • Number of Systems: Most plans offer better value when you bundle multiple units (furnace, AC, heat pumps) together.
  • Warranty Requirements: Ensure the plan you choose meets your manufacturer’s requirement for annual professional maintenance to keep your warranty valid.
  • Budget: If you prefer predictable costs and want to avoid surprise repair bills, a comprehensive service agreement may be worth the higher monthly fee.

Frequently Asked Questions about HVAC Maintenance

Homeowners across Edmonton often ask the same great questions about HVAC maintenance. Here are the answers to the most common concerns.

How often should I schedule HVAC maintenance in Edmonton?

We recommend servicing your equipment twice a year to handle Edmonton’s extreme weather.

  • Schedule your furnace tune-up in the fall before the cold weather arrives. This ensures your heating system is ready for winter and helps you avoid a breakdown when you need it most.
  • Schedule your air conditioner tune-up in the spring before the first heatwave. This maximizes cooling power and efficiency for the summer.

This proactive schedule is exactly what an hvac maintenance plan edmonton ab is designed to provide, catching small issues before they become serious problems.

What are the signs my HVAC system needs professional maintenance?

Your system will give you warning signs when it needs attention. Look out for:

  • Unusual noises: Banging, squealing, or grinding can indicate loose parts or failing motors.
  • Weak airflow: If air isn’t blowing strongly, you could have a clogged filter or blower issues.
  • Rising energy bills: A sudden spike means your system is losing efficiency and working too hard.
  • Frequent cycling: If your system turns on and off in short, repeated bursts, it could be a thermostat or airflow problem.
  • Unpleasant odours: Musty smells can indicate mold, while burning smells suggest electrical issues.
  • System won’t turn on: If your system is unresponsive, it’s time to call a professional.

Regular maintenance through an hvac maintenance plan edmonton ab can prevent most of these issues from ever occurring.

How can an hvac maintenance plan edmonton ab save me money?

A maintenance plan is an investment that puts money back in your pocket in several ways:

  • Lower Utility Bills: A well-maintained system uses less energy, saving you up to 30% on heating and cooling costs.
  • Repair Discounts & Waived Fees: Most plans offer 15-20% off repairs and waive diagnostic fees, saving you money from the start.
  • Preventing Emergency Breakdowns: We catch and fix small problems during routine visits, helping you avoid emergency repairs that can cost over $1,000.
  • Extended Equipment Lifespan: Regular maintenance can add years to your system’s life, delaying the multi-thousand-dollar cost of replacement.
  • Warranty Protection: Annual maintenance is required by most manufacturers to keep your warranty valid, ensuring you’re covered for major component failures.

A plan transforms unpredictable, expensive repairs into a manageable, predictable cost.
