Our latest live video features some more great advice and addresses one of the latest questions from our readers, “ Not a Hedge Killer ”, who has some questions about modifying a furnace exhaust. Would changing the degree of the furnace exhaust cause condensation to reach the furnace? If you’d prefer to watch this video directly on youtube, click here.

Here is the latest letter from one of our readers:

Dear Keven,

I am wondering if you could give me some advice on my furnace exhaust pipe. My neighbor says that it is blowing out ammonia and killing their hedge. We ourselves have not smelled anything inside our house. They have requested that we put a 90-degree pipe to divert the exhaust. Would this cause condensation to get into our furnace?

Signed,

Not a Hedge Killer
