Terms and Conditions
- Acclaimed! charges a 2.35% processing fee for deposits and balances paid by credit card unless otherwise noted.
- Any change in scope from the original proposal agreement will be discussed, and terms agreed upon by both parties before carrying out such work.
- Acclaimed! will accept no liability for conditions existing before any work done by Acclaimed!.
- Proposal costs do not include repair of components that are not currently code-compliant unless otherwise noted.
- The proposal costs do not include the cost of repair or additional installation requirements due to the improper installation of the existing chimney.
- White grate panels will cover all access holes cut for venting, line set, and electrical runs.
- All access holes will be cut at the discretion of the installer.
- No warranty or guarantee of service(s) or product(s) described on the invoice is valid until payment is made in full.
- Acclaimed! reserves the right to register a lien on the property address indicated on the invoice on accounts overdue by 30 days.
- There is a $150.00 charge for the removal of the lien.
- Please note that we will charge an additional $50.00 for receipt of an NSF cheque or if it is invalid for any reason.
- Equipment covered by any Extended Labour Warranty must be serviced by Acclaimed! annually to comply with warranty terms and conditions unless indicated otherwise in this proposal agreement.
- Annual maintenance must be done in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications to maintain any parts warranty. Failure to do so will void any warranty coverage at the discretion of Acclaimed!
- The summary and scope of work on your estimate does not include material price increases 30 days past an accepted quotation or additional labour and materials for work that may be requested and/or required should unforeseen problems arise after the work has started.
- The final cost of work may differ from any estimated price should further work be requested or required because of unknown conditions or client requests. As such, the estimated price of products and services are not a guarantee of the final price of all work performed.
- Overdue accounts may incur an interest charge of 2% per month (26.8% per annum).
Buyers Right to Cancel:
- You may cancel this contract from the day you enter the contract until 10 days after you receive a copy of the contract.
- You do not need a reason to cancel.
- If you do not receive the goods or services within 30 days of the date stated on the contract, you may cancel this contract within one year of the contract date. You will lose the right if you accept delivery after 30 days.
- There are other grounds for extended cancellation. For more information, you may contact your provincial/ territorial consumer affairs office.
- If you cancel this contract, the seller has 15 days to refund your money and trade-in, or cash value of the trade in. You must then return the goods.
- To cancel, you must give notice of cancellation at the address in this contract.
- You must give notice of cancellation by a method that will allow you to prove that you gave notice, including registered mail, fax, or personal delivery.
